Story Of Establishment
Starting an NGO was not easy. Ms. Jaskirat had no financial backing, no powerful connections, and no significant support from the community at first. People were sceptical. From a conservative background, speaking openly about menstruation was seen as taboo, and many questioned the need for such an organization.

Founder, Director, a social worker and a social entrepreneur who founded Sifaaz in 2023 after witnessing firsthand, the devastating consequences of preventable social taboos and women health related problems in her own city, Chandigarh.
Our Co-Founder who has completed his Masters in Social work and working in Sifaaz Foundation by supporting the organization's mission.
She has completed her Masters in Sociology, is now serving as an Advisory member of the organization.
He is a social service enthusiast and plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization stays aligned with its mission.
